About
Who we are
SoCal Fire Dancers got it’s start in Los Angeles, which is one of the largest hubs of fire dancers and specialty acts in the country. For years, we would get together and practice fire performing and circus arts at different meetups and events around the city. As the network grew and our talents sharpened over time, we’ve been given the opportunity to travel and perform at various events throughout the world. Whether it’s a birthday party in the Hollywood Hills or the jungles of Costa Rica for a festival, we’ve been able to pursue our passions in very diverse environments.
What we pride ourselves on as a specialty act agency is the types of performances we put on. We aim to inspire and elicit emotions through our various tools and art forms. Although we have all the traditional fire dance tools such as poi and hoop, we also have kung-fu and medieval style tools as well as one-of-a-kind props seen nowehere else. We love the melding of different modalities such as martial arts and dance, and create special experiences for our audiences that they don’t usually see at other performances.
Additionally, we have a wide variety of acts outside of fire dancers. Whether it’s aerial arts, burlesque, belly dancers, LED acts, stilt walkers, contortionists, gogo dancers, or anything else you can think of, we really do aim to help bring your vision to fruition. We only work with friends and colleagues who we know very well through the vibrant performance community that spans all of Southern California.
